Hi there! Enjoyed learning about some bands I didn't know about from former Yugoslavia, thanks for sharing! If you are interested, below are some links to a couple shows I've done about Yugo punk, a show about experimental Croatian composers, plus a column I wrote for Maximum Rocknroll magazine when I was coordinator there a a few years ago.

Hi Lydia,

Thank you very much for taking some time off of your day to give my music ramblings a read. It does mean a lot. I managed to read through that article you wrote about the Yugoslav scene and it's safe to say it was very engaging and well-written - also, killer show on there! Laibach, Borghesia, Karstof, O! Kult, Satan Panonski... all bands & artists that I'm a big fan of.

I'll make sure to give that MRR column a read in the coming days, I've been quite busy lately but I'll get around that.

Cheers!

Ooh, very interesting here, thanks for all this! Underground scenes and experimental music are a big influence on my stuff here at PC, love hearing new things. Subscribed, can’t wait to dig in to your earlier posts! Let me know what you think of my stuff if you check any out, thanks again!

Super interesting, as usual. Going to diver deeper into the works of Mario Marzidovšek.

Totally! I can very much recommend everything he's done with his label. Personally I think the Ultimativ LP is a good starting point since you can still find some melodic elements here and there, it only gets more left field and experimental from there on.
